    • I finished this and really enjoyed it I became a beta reader for you The character was great and I found myself rooting for them all the way to the end Though the ending seemed a bit sad, it worked since one can see how the choices made led up to it Great job

    • I ve never seen a girl less in tune with the idea of self preservation or self improvement as I have Tamara She s young, fresh out of juvie, and naive to the world, and that s completely understandable But she s trying to do right, she wants to be another person, a good person So when her old cellmate, Glock , shows up, she gets sucked in, time and again There are so many people pleading with Tamara to talk to them, to let them help and she s just not having it Being institutionalized can play a [...]

    • This book was very compelling reading The characters were real and full of depth and the storyline was realistic as well I liked Tamara who had grown up in a juvenile detention centre and was placed into a foster home on parole, and I felt sorry for her as she tried hard to adapt to being in normal society and tried to fight the temptations that would break her parole conditions and send her back to juvie Tamara got a reasonable start at her new life until her cell mate from juvie makes an appea [...]

    • I Love P.D Workman So Much Holy shit Okay, so, of all the P.D Workman books I ve read, this has got to be my favorite I loved Ruby Between the Cracks too, but, even though I also gave it five stars, Ruby was so long that it sometimes dragged on in places This book was absolutely perfect in every single way I l o v e Tamara and Glock, like, genuinely scared me Especially with all those dead animalsn, I almost care about them than the people But at least the one dog didn t die I thought for sure [...]

    • This is not the type of book I typically read, but I received a copy and went for it It s sort of tragic and inspiring at the same time It s hard not to feel sorry for Tamara, the protagonist, even though she s done some pretty terrible things in her life to end up where she is.This story gives some good perspective into what some juvenile delinquents deal with and try to overcome in order to lead semi normal lives I would have liked a little insight into some of the other characters, like Gloc [...]

    • As this is my first time reading one of her books, I can say that I really enjoy it It starts with this girl named Tamara and she just left Juvenile Detention Centre and was placed in a foster home on parole, and she has quite a hard time adapting to her new life Going to a new school where all the teachers there acknowledge of her bad past Everything is going fine, she s following parole orders and not breaking them because she really wants to have a new start, until someone in her past comes b [...]

    • I was lucky enough to beta read this book For me, a sign of a good book is that it is a quick read, holds my interest front to back and I like the characters This book met the mark on all three of those characteristics Tamara is fresh out of Juvie and has a desire to make a fresh start She is placed in a good foster home and starts fitting in at school Then things start happening and all her good intentions are challenged.

    • I read this as a Beta reader, so to be fair there are still improvements being made by the author. The storyline of the book was well thought out, but to be honest there wasn t as much action in some parts of the book as I d like there to be The character of Tamara was very believable and I did root for her the entire way, but often I was frustrated with her decision making I think this book holds a lot of potential, and I wish the author the best of luck when the story is published

    • interesting read about a girl who was in juvie for murder got out put in foster care with an awesome family and a Po who all thinks she had potential to do good and live a better life until her cellie comes around and winds up getting her in trouble great read found this book on Wattpad.

    • I received this book for an honest review Very different from the books i normally read but i really enjoyed this very much looking forward to reading from this author.
